Vižula Archaeological Park: Located on the Vižula peninsula, this archaeological park features the remains of a Roman villa dating back to the 1st century BC. The impressive ruins are a window into the history and rich past of the region.
Malin Windmill: One of the small buildings along the coast of Medulin is the Malin Windmill. This will probably catch your attention right away and is a unique photo opportunity of the town. If you visit in the summer months, there is a good chance that you can buy freshly baked bread here.
Park Suma Kašteja: A quiet and idyllic park at the southern tip of the city, which not only offers many bathing opportunities, but also offers a perfect view of the Adriatic Sea.
Cape Kamenjak: Kamenjak Nature Park is a stunning nature reserve that stretches across a nearby peninsula. Here you will find untouched nature, numerous bays and beaches, and hiking trails with spectacular views. The nature park is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and cyclists.
There are so many beaches in the Medulin area that it’s hard to narrow down to just five of the best. No matter where you go, you’ll be able to take a dip in the refreshing water and marvel at the turquoise and crystal clear waters. There are also plenty of opportunities for water sports, with jet skiing being one of the most popular attractions in town.
Bijeca Beach: This wide, sandy beach is about a kilometer long and is the most famous beach in Medulin. The shallow, calm waters make it particularly family-friendly. There are many amenities such as restaurants, bars and water sports.
Mostić Beach: If you prefer something quieter, Mostić Beach is the place for you. The pebble beach is located in a secluded bay and offers a relaxed atmosphere. Here you can relax and enjoy nature. You can also take a walk in the nearby park and unwind.
Belvedere Beach : Belvedere Beach is another popular pebble beach in Medulin. The beach actually belongs to a hotel, but is open to everyone. It is surrounded by pine forests that provide shade on hot days. The beach is known for its clean water and the possibility of snorkeling. Next door is the slightly smaller Alba Chiara Beach , which is also worth a visit.
Pomer Beach : Pomer is a nearby fishing village and Pomer Beach offers a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. There are restaurants along the seafront where you can enjoy fresh fish and seafood. The beach is popular with locals and is less crowded than some of the other beaches in Medulin.
