The old town of Primošten: The old town of Primošten is located on a small island that was originally a peninsula. You gain access through the massive entrance gate, which is worth seeing in itself. The narrow alleys, cobbled streets and traditional stone houses give the old town a charming medieval character. Particularly impressive is the church of St. Juraj on the hill, from where you have a breathtaking view of the sea.
The coastal promenade: Primošten’s coastal promenade is a picturesque place to stroll. There are cozy cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops along the promenade. The view of the turquoise sea and the surrounding islands makes the walk particularly pleasant.
Church of St. Juraj: In the old town you can admire this wonderful church, which is architecturally second to none in its class. It exudes Mediterranean charm and offers a breathtaking view of the old town, the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding mainland.

Primošten is the perfect holiday resort, especially for this region of Croatia. It is less crowded, but offers direct access to arguably the best sights in the country. The region is also known for its wine production, especially the famous red wine Babić, so day trips to these should definitely be on your agenda. We highly recommend renting a car and using it to reach most of the destinations.
Krka Waterfalls: Krka National Park is about an hour’s drive from Primošten. It offers stunning waterfalls, picturesque lakes and lush nature. The park also offers hiking trails and boat trips.
Šibenik: Šibenik is a historic town located about 25 kilometers south of Primošten. The old town of Šibenik is rich in medieval architecture, the Cathedral of St. James is particularly impressive. The town also offers a lively atmosphere, cafes and restaurants.
Trogir: The UNESCO World Heritage city of Trogir is located about 40 kilometers north of Primošten. The well-preserved old town of Trogir is rich in history and architecture. Stroll through the narrow streets and visit the imposing Trogir Cathedral.
Kornati National Park: The Kornati Islands, about 30 kilometers west of Primošten, form the largest archipelago in Croatia. A boat trip to the Kornati Islands offers the opportunity to explore the breathtaking island landscape and crystal-clear waters.
Split: Split, the second largest city in Croatia, is located around 60 kilometers southwest of Primošten. The old town of Split is under UNESCO protection and is home to Diocletian’s Palace, one of the best-preserved Roman palaces in the world.
