The towns of Banjol and Palit are right next door and offer an even better insight into life on Rab.

Mount Kamenjak : Climb to the highest peak on the island and overlook the turquoise blue Adriatic Sea and the many islands of the Kvarner Bay. It doesn’t get much more beautiful than this! Rab Archaeological Traces – Trail Capo Fronte : The island of Rab has provided a variety of selected hiking and cycling routes. Padova Beach (1-3) : Here we have summarized three of the most popular bathing bays for you. These are close to the capital and are very well equipped. There are not only many beach bars and cafes, but also many activities for children. You also have a direct view of the old town of Pag.

Beach Plaža Vela Riva : If you drive further south along the coast, you will soon come across this beach. Close to the small settlement of Barbat, you will have a really cozy time here. A great sandy beach with a jetty awaits you, far away from the tourists. The beach is clean and also has many trees that provide plenty of shade on warm days.

Gonar Beach : Further north you will find this idyllic beach that invites you to relax and observe. Many boats and yachts pass by here. You can even take a tour yourself and see the island of Rab from a different perspective.

Dubac Beach : This beach in the north of Rab is particularly family-friendly and has a shallow entrance into the sea. Perfect for a stay with the family. And the best thing: there are two beach facilities here too! The nature all around is also beautiful to look at and very natural.
